The Treasury Department mailed stimulus checks to tens of millions of Americans to help them deal with the raging Covid epidemic. OTDI 2020, they announced that they would print Donald Trump’s directly on the checks; it’s the first time in the nation’s history that such checks have been graffiti’d by a president.
Just a coincidence that Trump’s unprecedented move came in the heat of his presidential election campaign?
This was yet another example of Trump’s obsession with stamping his name on items ranging from neckties to steaks to women’s chests.
